Camp at Brown University, Providence RI USA 2018

Sessions I,II, III and IV (Residential Camp):

  • For campers aged 13-17
  • Brown University Campus, Providence, RI
  •  Session I June 16-20.
     Session II June 20-24,
     Session III June 25-29.
     Session IV June 29-July 3rd
  • Cost per camper per session  - $1,875 *
  • Maximum 30 campers.  1-3 coach to camper ratio
  • * Commuter $1,000.00

Session Goals:

The camp is best suited to players interested in competing at an elite or college prospect level. The leGassickSquash Camp at Brown University is open to any and all participants who are aged 13-17. We employ a number of college coaches to teach at the camp. Leading the camp will be Roger Flynn - the Former National Coach of Scotland and a world renowned coach along with Alan Clyne World #24 and Scottish #1 and Olivia Blatchford the World #12 and U.S.National Champion, who is presently training in Scotland and the USA.. They will be assisted by college coaches and the Brown University Head Coach Stuart le Gassick.

College Coaches Evaluating Campers:

Each session has a camp tournament where all campers play matchplay against fellow campers. leGassickSquash camps invite college coaches to each of the three matchplay sessions of the camp (the final morning of camp) to evaluate campers' squash playing skills. (June 20th  9am- Noon, June 24th , 9am-Noon, June 29th 9am-Noon and July 3rd 9am to Noon).

Alan Clyne:
Scottish #1, World top 24.
Olivia Blatchford: World # 12, U.S. National Champion.
Theo Woodward: Assistant Coach of  Drexel Men and Women's Squash programs.
Joe Raho:
Head Coach Tufts Men and Women.
Jamie King: Head Coach Hamilton Men and Women's  squash programs.
Stuart le Gassick: Head Coach Brown University Men's and Women's squash programs.

and Top Varsity Intercollegiate Players

***  Whenever campers are on court, at each session, there is a fully qualified Brown University athletic trainer in attendance.

***  There are Brown University trained Residential Assistants on duty at the Brown University Dorms at all times.
